Sunday 5th May - walk *** – Around Felixstowe with the lovely Maeva – sunny and warm.

The fantastic Bank Holiday weekend weather continues, had a relaxing morning at home in our quiet garden well away from the seafront where there was an vehicle rally, a couple of my dislikes to be avoided, old cars and crowds! As we were having Maeva for the afternoon I did my exercises I the sunny back garden and took a few pics while Mag did her usual pottering. I then made lunch before we set off to pick up Maeva around 2.30 heading to Underwoods first and with Maeva picked up we headed to Abbey Grove to our usual bench to enjoy a cuppa and snack, Maeva was as good as gold enjoying her biscuit and I got some lovely pics of her sitting surrounded by buttercups! Well rested we did a quick circuit of The Grove before heading for home, Beatrice Ave., was heaving with smelly cars polluting the area and we were glad to get past them. We made it as far as the cliff top before returning home where we had Maeva until quite late but she was no trouble, she fell asleep on Mag in the end:)

Monday 6th May – walk * - Around Felixstowe – cloudy with some light rain:(

Typical Bank Holiday Monday with the warm sunshine now gone to be replaced by cloud with light rain:( Mag still managed to get in the garden but I had to do my exercises inside. Lunch was followed by a 2 mile walk down to the seafront with lots of umbrellas about as the light rain started! Around the pier and along the prom to Beach Road turning inland to Langer Park. A quick whiz around Lidl and home for a cuppa and a yummy hot cross bun, we know how to live:)
